Bay City mayor calls blackmail, coercion claims ‘entirely false’
Bay Metropolis, MI – Mayor Chris Girard went to social media on Wednesday 9 April and issued an announcement and accusations of a current metropolis committee assembly that he was blackmailed for a controversial decision about how town would cope with federal immigration enforcement.
In accordance with the accusations, which aren’t substantiated, Girard was pressured by the state Rep. Timothy Beson, R-Bay Metropolis, with regard to the decision of the “Welection Metropolis” authorised by the committee in March.
