A lottery membership in West Bloomfield lately claimed the prize for one Power ball ticket value $2 million, bought in Detroit, according to the Michigan Lottery.
The FDL lottery membership ticket matched the 5 white balls drawn from September 3 to three, 16, 29, 61 and 69. The Energy Play elevated the prize from $1 million to $2 million.
The ticket was bought at Sunkiss Market at 13535 Puritan St.
“The membership bought a number of Powerball tickets as a result of the jackpot was over $1 billion,” membership consultant and spokesperson Sheldon Larky instructed the Michigan Lottery. “They checked their tickets after the drawing and did not imagine it after they realized there was a $2 million winner! They scanned the ticket into the Michigan Lottery app to double-check it and ensure it was actual.
“The membership members stated profitable a $2 million prize is reassuring and unbelievable.”
