Detroit man faces sentencing in case where girl’s throat was slashed

A Detroit man is predicted to be sentenced later this month in reference to the assault of an 8-year-old Yemeni woman whose throat was slit whereas she performed in a park.

On Wednesday, November 5, Gary Lansky pleaded responsible however mentally in poor health in Wayne County Circuit Courtroom to assault with intent to homicide and assault. He can be sentenced on November 20, in accordance with the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Workplace.

Assault with intent to commit homicide is against the law punishable by as much as life in jail.
