Justice Department preparing subpoenas for John Brennan probe, sources say

Justice Division officers in Miami and Washington, D.C., are actively getting ready to problem a number of grand jury subpoenas associated to an investigation into former CIA Director John Brennan, Fox Information has realized.

U.S. Legal professional for the Southern District of Florida Jason Reding Quiñones is overseeing the investigation, Fox Information was instructed.

Fox Information first reported that Brennan and former FBI Director James Comey are beneath investigation from early July 2025. Thursday’s improvement intensifies that investigation. Comey is combating his case in courtroom, with a trial set for January.

Brennan has not but been charged and it’s unclear whether or not a grand jury will indict him, however proof might be introduced in South Florida.

HOUSE JUDICIAL COMMISSION REFERS FORMER CIA DIRECTOR JOHN BRENNAN TO JUSTICE DEPARTMENT FOR PROSECUTION

Final month, Home Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, referred Brennan to the DOJ, saying the previous CIA chief had “deliberately and intentionally” made false statements to Congress.

Jordan accused Brennan of mendacity in his 2023 Judicial Committee testimony by denying that the CIA used the Steele file in getting ready the 2017 Intelligence Neighborhood Evaluation (ICA) on Russian election interference, and falsely claiming that the CIA opposed its inclusion.
