Lakes Space Chamber accepts nominations for annual awards

The Lakes Space Chamber of Commerce will host their annual Black and White Awards Ball on January 23, 2026 from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM at Edgewood County Membership.

Nominations are open till 12/12/25 for the next prize classes:

Enterprise of the Yr Award

Honors an excellent firm that has demonstrated a long-standing dedication to the group and their workers and demonstrates distinctive professionalism, integrity and customer support. Corporations should be members of the LACC to be eligible for this award.

Group Heroes Award

Honors a person who has demonstrated long-term dedication to the group by way of volunteerism and selfless actions and who has a historical past of service to the betterment of the Lakes Area. The nominee should be a resident or work throughout the Lakes Area communities to be eligible.

Lifetime achievement award

Awarded to a person whose excellent lifetime contributions to group management and philanthropic efforts improve the standard of life and depart an indelible footprint of a civic legacy. The nominee should be a resident or work throughout the Lakes Area communities to be eligible.

First Responder of the Yr Award

Introduced to an excellent group first responder who has demonstrated professionalism and extraordinary measures within the line of responsibility. The nominee should serve the residents of the Lakes Area to be eligible.

Genysis Credit score Union Entrepreneur of the Yr Award

This award rewards vital development and long-term potential. The entrepreneur ought to observe contributions to the group by way of charitable or management roles. The corporate should reveal modern worker packages and company tradition. The nominee should be a member of an LACC firm to be eligible.

DMC Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital

Excellence in healthcare

This award honors a person who demonstrates management, innovation and excellence within the healthcare discipline. The nominee should serve the residents of the Lakes Area to be eligible.

Lewbowski Regulation Agency Excellent Group Group Award

Introduced to a company that demonstrates distinctive group dedication by way of direct involvement, monetary assist and management. The group will need to have official standing as a non-profit group. To be eligible, the group should be a member of the LACC.

Scholar of the Yr Award

Acknowledges a highschool pupil residing within the Lakes Area who has demonstrated excellence in management, citizenship, and tutorial and/or profession and technical achievement. The coed receives a scholarship.

Range Spacetter Award

This award is offered to an organization that promotes and facilitates a tradition of variety and inclusion within the areas of labor setting, profession growth, coaching, networking and mentoring. Corporations should be members of the LACC to be eligible.

Younger Skilled of the Yr Award

Honors a dynamic chief between the ages of 21 and 40 who represents a member firm of the Lakes Space Chamber of Commerce and has made a significant affect locally and office. Nominees could also be nominated by an employer, colleague, mentor, or colleague and should reveal a number of of the next: affect locally by way of volunteer or nonprofit work, excellence in enterprise by way of management, or progressive innovation of their discipline.
