MLB news: Fan runs onto field with American flag during Dodgers-Blue Jays Game 6

A fan carrying an American flag briefly disrupted play throughout an important Recreation 6 of the World Collection between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Toronto Blue Jays when he ran onto the sector earlier than being tackled by ballpark safety.

The incident occurred through the sixth inning as Dodgers beginning pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto was warming up.

Video on social media confirmed the person in a blue shirt working throughout midfield with the flag. At one level, a safety guard could be seen ripping the flag from the person’s palms earlier than it was rapidly positioned on the bottom.

Uniformed officers then ran onto the sector to arrest the disruptor.
