Police: Child reports man took photos of her in bathroom stall; suspect sought
Southfield police are investigating what they describe as a reported “Peeping Tom” incident involving a 9-year-old woman in a retailer restroom.
It allegedly occurred on October 22 on the Michaels retailer at 28550 Telegraph Street. In response to police, a girl and her 9-year-old daughter had been utilizing separate toilet stalls when the kid allegedly noticed a hand standing over her bathroom taking footage of her with a cellphone. The kid screamed for her mom, police mentioned.
In response to the kid, the suspect’s hand seemed to be that of a white man sporting a black sleeve and white sneakers, police mentioned.
An individual of curiosity, described as a bald, medium construct white man with a mustache, was seen coming into the shop at 7:36 p.m. and leaving 5 minutes later, police mentioned. He was sporting a white jacket, black shirt, black pants and white sneakers.
