San Antonio Police Chief Invoice McManus informed reporters that investigators “have no idea the motive at the moment, however it was not random.”

McManus later confirmed on social media that the suspect was discovered ‘down’ with a ‘self-inflicted’ wound after a manhunt. It was not clear whether or not the suspect was useless.

Neither the suspect nor the victims have been recognized. The victims have been two males and a lady, McManus mentioned.

After the taking pictures, SWAT and negotiators from the San Antonio Police Division have been on scene, together with the Texas Division of Public Security.
