Who’s running for Michigan’s 10th Congressional District?

The Republican congressman John James joins a crowded field vying to replace Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, who is term-limited and bails on his Congressional seat.
Now: Republicans and Democrats are scrambling to announce their candidate to fill the seat Congressman James has abruptly left. Many good choices are considering running for this seat on both the Republican and Democrats ticket. In the coming weeks we expect to hear more candidates and hopefully official announcements from each campaign.
Joe Aragona – State Representative from Clinton Township
Mike Bouchard – Oakland County Sheriff
Rocky Raczkowski – Local Veteran Business Owner, Former Oakland GOP Chairman and Former Congressional Candidate.
Dan Kress – Clinton Township Board
We were able to get more information from a local Republican activist, who says she is “optimistic that Republicans will continue holding this seat”. While she declined to support a candidate yet, she claims to be “deciding between Mike Bouchard and Rocky Raczkowski”. The Michigan Maverick will also be doing our own poll, which we will announce at a later date.
As we continue to gather more information we will let you know!
