Zohran Mamdani claims ‘there is no problem too large for government to solve’

Whereas delivering his victory speech on Tuesday night, newly elected New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani made an announcement in regards to the position of presidency in residents’ lives, sparking concern amongst critics on-line.

“We’ll show that there is no such thing as a drawback too huge for the federal government to unravel, and no drawback too small to fret about,” Mamdani said throughout his remarks.

The self-described Democratic socialist’s feedback caught the eye of some folks.

“I am from the federal government and I am right here to assist!” Florida Governor Ron DeSantis wrote when reposting one other person’s publish about Mamdani’s feedback.

DeSantis’ publish seems to be a reference to President Ronald Reagan’s well-known comment that he “discovered that the 9 most terrifying phrases within the English language are: ‘I am from the federal government and I am right here to assist.'”
