2 dead after small plane crashes in Kent County

Two individuals are lifeless after a small airplane crashed towards a storage facility in Kent County on Monday 21 July.

The crash occurred at round 4.30 pm, close to the intersection of Vergennes Avenue and Lincoln Lake Avenue SE in Vergennes Township, simply exterior the Lowell airport, based on a press launch from the Sheriff’s Workplace by Kent County.

The small airplane had left Alpena and flew via the Grand Rapids space when it went down, based on the discharge. The occupants, 62-year-old Kevin Lawrence of Presque Isle and 68-year-old Paul Shalk of Rogers Metropolis, died within the crash.

The Sheriff workplace of Kent County works along with the Federal Aviation Administration and the Nationwide Transportation Security Board to find out the reason for the crash.
