Northern Michigan school lockdown after man breaks in with hammer. What we know

A northern Michigan faculty was positioned on lockdown Monday, Feb. 9, after a person broke into the constructing with a hammer, police mentioned.

The Grand Traverse County Sheriff’s Office mentioned a 41-year-old man was taken into custody Monday and booked into the Grand Traverse County Jail after breaking into the college and inflicting harm inside the college. Old Mission Peninsula School.

The college went into lockdown, police mentioned. The scholars have been later launched to their dad and mom and the constructing was closed for the remainder of the day. No accidents have been reported by police.
