New Bloomfield sidewalk project to be unveiled

Members of the Southeast Michigan Council of Governments (SEMCOG) will exhibit their newest challenge in Bloomfield Township throughout a gathering on Nov. 10.

They are going to be on the township assembly at 6:30 p.m. at Bloomfield Township Corridor, 4200 Telegraph, the place a 1.4-mile pedestrian walkway alongside Telegraph Street can be introduced between Golf Drive to the north and Mall Drive to the south. Moreover, the path will increase entry to the Clinton River Path, which is a part of the Nice Lake-to-Lake Path System.

The $1.4 million price ticket for the challenge can be coated with federal funding from SEMCOG’s Transportation Alternate options Program.

Development will start in spring 2027, in line with Hubble, Roth and Clark, the engineering agency for the challenge.
