LTU announces commencement speaker

Lawrence Technological College will have a good time its 99th graduation with two ceremonies on Saturday, December 6, that includes remarks from a distinguished lawyer whose father is an LTU alumnus.

The primary ceremony is at 10 a.m. for the LTU Schools of Structure and Design, Arts and Sciences, Enterprise and Info Know-how, Well being Sciences and Specs at LTU. The second is 1:30 PM for the LTU School of Engineering. Each will probably be in LTU’s Don Ridler Discipline Home.

The speaker for each ceremonies will probably be John Donley, who practiced legislation within the Chicago workplace of main worldwide agency Kirkland and Ellis for 40 years earlier than retiring in 2024.

The son of Ed Donley, he was born in Macomb County, graduated from LTU in 1943 with a level in mechanical engineering and went on to turn out to be chairman and CEO of Allentown, Pennsylvania-based Air Merchandise and Chemical compounds.
