Unique scholarship available for high school seniors
The Alzheimer’s Basis of America presents scholarships of as much as $5,000 to highschool college students attending school as a part of its annual “Teen Alzheimer’s Consciousness Scholarship.”
Eligible teenagers are invited to use for the grant by submitting an essay of as much as 1,500 phrases, or a video of as much as 4 minutes, describing how Alzheimer’s illness or different dementia-related ailments have formed their lives, what they’ve discovered about themselves, their household and/or their neighborhood by means of their expertise with Alzheimer’s illness, and the way they plan to advocate or elevate consciousness sooner or later.
The scholarship is open to present highschool seniors residing in the US and attending school or college this fall.
The grand prize is a $5,000 scholarship, with prizes for runners-up and honorable mentions. For the reason that program’s inception, greater than $527,000 in scholarships has been awarded.
Entries could be submitted at www.alzfdn.org/scholarship and should be acquired by Sunday, March 1.
