American tennis star Amanda Anisimova referred to as out a reporter on the Australian Open for asking “clickbait” questions on representing the US below the Trump administration, saying it was her “proper” not to talk about political points.

Anisimova, a finalist on the 2025 US Open and Wimbledon, later spoke concerning the incident involving the reporter. OutKick reports this was freelance journalist Owen Lewis.
