Bob Weir, co-founder of the Grateful Useless, has died on the age of 78, an announcement from his household on his Instagram web page confirmed.

“It’s with nice disappointment that we share the passing of Bobby Weir. He handed away peacefully, surrounded by family members, after courageously beating most cancers as solely Bobby may,” the assertion stated, including that he succumbed to lung issues.

“For over sixty years, Bobby hit the highway,” the assertion continued. “A guitarist, singer, storyteller and co-founder of the Grateful Useless, Bobby will without end be a guiding pressure whose distinctive artistry reshaped American music.”

His household wrote that his “work did extra than simply fill rooms with music; it was heat daylight that crammed the soul and constructed a group, a language and a way of household that generations of followers carry with them.”
