Brandon Johnson says Trump must be ‘checked’ on military use in American cities

Mayor Brandon Johnson in Chicago appeared on CNN on Tuesday and claimed that President Donald Trump is an “unstable man” who should be “managed” for his use of the military in American cities.

“This president is an unstable man, and it’s proper in the intervening time to test him. And we name on the congress to do his work,” Johnson advised CNN’s Wolf Blitzer.

After a clip of Trump who spoke with Senior American army officers on the Marine Corps -Foundation Foundation Quantico, Va., Requested Blitzer what Johnson considered Trump’s speech and stated that the Nationwide Guard “would go in a short time in Chicago.”

Johnson known as Trump’s feedback “horrible” and argued that each civilians and army employees needs to be in opposition to the president’s step to ship troops to American cities.

“There is no such thing as a method that somebody on this nation needs to be so as with armed militarized troops despatched to cities,” he stated. “These people, these courageous ladies and men who’ve registered to serve and defend this nation, they don’t do it in opposition to Americans and residents in thoughts.
