Connor Essegian suffers tooth mishap after head punch in win over New Mexico

Nebraska’s Connor Essegian suffered a blow to the again of the top Thursday evening that gave the impression to be a chipped tooth.

He joked in a later put up that customers on the social media platform have been “undefeated” after somebody created an account with the deal with “Connor Essegian’s Tooth.”

“You can be too quick,” he wrote.

Albury posted an apology to X after the match, calling his actions a ‘egocentric resolution’. His message didn’t embody an apology to Essegian.

“Lobo Nation, you deserve higher than what I confirmed tonight. No matter what led to my egocentric resolution, I put myself earlier than the workforce at a time once I wanted to indicate composure and management.

“My actions should not a mirrored image on our gamers, coaches or the UNM basketball program. I sincerely apologize to Coach Olen and the remainder of the workers, my teammates, Lobo followers and supporters, particularly the younger kids who witnessed my silly resolution on a nationwide TV stage.

“Representing UNM and the town of Albuquerque is a privilege and never a proper. I settle for full accountability for what occurred. I’ll by no means let our workforce, followers and metropolis down like this once more.”

The Cornhuskers are 5-0 to start out the season, and their successful streak courting again to final season is the longest streak within the nation.
