Crash on Van Dyke in Bruce Township leaves 3-year-old dead, 3 injured

A 3-year-old woman died and three individuals had been despatched to the hospital with life-threatening accidents after a head-on collision on Van Dyke Avenue in Bruce Township on Thanksgiving Day, police stated.

A 2011 Chevy Impala pushed by a father together with his 2-year-old son and 3-year-old daughter within the automotive was touring south on M-53, also referred to as Van Dyke Avenue, close to Ebeling Street and crossed into the northbound lanes round 5:20 p.m., based on preliminary investigation at Michigan State Police Second District X page on the morning of Friday, November 28.

The two-year-old son of the 2011 Chevy driver was transported to a neighborhood hospital after which to a youngsters’s hospital with life-threatening accidents. In response to MSP, the 2011 Chevy driver’s three-year-old daughter was pronounced lifeless on the scene.

Neither youngster was “correctly restrained” and there was just one automotive seat within the automobile, stated MSP Public Info Officer Lt. Mike Shaw within the MSP publish.
