Farmington Hills woman, Novi man killed in crash on I-75 in Detroit
A crash with several vehicles in Detroit on Sunday afternoon killed two passengers from Oakland County and injured various others, said civil servants.
According to the Michigan State Police, a 50-year-old Novi man and a 56-year-old woman from Farmington Hills were killed in the crash that took place in the I-75 near Mack Avenue in the mid-afternoon.
A study on the scene showed that the crash took place when the driver of a Ford Crown Victoria from 2001 from 2001 hit a Chevrolet Traverse from 2021 that delayed or put in the left traffic, which forced the traverse in a Kia Telluride of 2022. “It is important for all drivers to remember that every time they are behind the wheel, they are not only responsible for themselves and their passengers, but also others with whom they share their way,” MSP Lt. Mike Shaw. “Driving requires all our attention, always. The driving conditions can turn into a fraction of a second and if drivers do not pay attention, it can be fatal. “
The research is underway to record vehicle inspections, autopsy reports and reconstruction reports. Once completed, it is submitted to the office of the public prosecutor.
