GOP veterans release response video after Democratic military message

Republican fight veterans in Congress urged service members to “stand robust” for legislation and order in a response video to Democratic lawmakers’ message to troops about defying “unlawful” orders.

“I’ve flown fight missions and I do know what occurs when folks disobey an order,” Rep. Zach Nunn, R-Iowa, mentioned Tuesday on “Hannity.”

“This can’t occur to the women and men serving right this moment.”

Nunn, a fight veteran, was amongst these featured within the Republican-led video calling on service members to reject Democrats’ message.

Republicans argue that the Democrats’ video dangers undermining the navy’s command construction, whereas Democrats insist it’s merely reminding service members to not perform “unlawful” actions.

“What he mentioned was egregious for a number of causes,” McCormick informed Hannity.

“I assumed it was very unfair of him to say, ‘We have now your again.’ No, they do not,” he added, calling the Democrats’ video “completely political.”

Sen. Elissa Slotkin, D-Mich., who posted the video, wrote on X: “The president ordering the FBI to assault us is precisely why we made this video within the first place.”

“He believes in arming the federal authorities in opposition to his perceived enemies and doesn’t consider any legal guidelines apply to him or his Cupboard.”
