Lake Orion man shot dead on Christmas Day
A Lake Orion man died on Christmas Day after allegedly breaking right into a Fowlerville dwelling the place he exchanged gunfire with the house owner.
Livingston County sheriff’s officers stated the Lake Orion man was the estranged husband of a girl who visited the house on the 5500 block of Nicholson Street in Fowlerville.
Sheriff’s officers stated the house owner referred to as 911 Thursday at 7:09 p.m.
The Lake Orion man allegedly entered the house and fired a number of pictures on the house owner, who fired again, police stated. The Lake Orion man was pronounced lifeless on the scene.
The house owner was handled at College of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor for 2 non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.
Sheriff’s officers stated deputies had been assisted by the Fowlerville Police Division, Michigan State Police, Livingston County EMS and the Fowlerville Fireplace Division.
