Michigan-born woman on FBI’s wanted list for white collar crime

A Michigan native accused of defrauding California banks has landed on the FBI’s Most Wished Record.
73, is a fugitive and needed by the FBI for her alleged involvement in a fraud scheme in Los Angeles and Orange Counties. Investigators stated they imagine she is in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Brokers stated she was a part of a scheme that started in 2017 and netted $14.7 million from the Banc of California and $15 million from one other California financial institution.
Officers stated McDonnell falsely claims to be an inheritor to the McDonnell Plane household and has a secret $80 million belief. In addition they stated she was born in Michigan and has ties to Los Angeles and Montgomery, Ala.
A federal grand jury indicted McDonnell, a Los Angeles resident, in December 2018 on fees of financial institution fraud and aggravated identification theft. A federal arrest warrant was issued for her on December 12, 2018.
In line with court docket paperwork, she was the CEO of Bellum Leisure LLC, a Burbank, California-based manufacturing and distribution firm behind true crime reveals reminiscent of “It Takes a Killer,” “Corrupt Crimes” and “I Married a Assassin.”
