“Snow and excessive winds will result in vital reductions in visibility. Whiteout situations are anticipated throughout instances of the heaviest snow and wind, most probably Wednesday night by Thursday morning. Winter climate advisories issued
A Winter Climate Advisory is in impact for components of Western Michigan, Northern Michigan and the UP on account of snow and excessive winds in some areas till 7:00 PM on Wednesday, November 26, 7:00 PM on Thursday, November 27, or till 7:00 AM or 7:00 PM on November 28.

Excessive Wind Warnings in Michigan
The NWS stated excessive winds of 25 to 30 mph are anticipated, with gusts as much as 60 mph.
The warning applies to Allegan, Ottawa, Van Buren, Mason, Muskegon and Oceana counties.

Gale, storm warnings issued on the Nice Lakes
The climate service has issued storm warnings for the Nice Lakes.
“The most important vital waves shall be 18 toes with a possible most wave top of 26 toes,” the NWS stated of Lake Huron.
A storm warning is in impact for Lake Superior on Wednesday, November 26.
“For the gale warning, northeasterly to northerly winds of 35 to 40 knots are anticipated with gusts as much as 50 knots and waves of 45 to 16 toes,” the climate service stated.
A storm warning can be in impact for southern Lake Michigan.
“For the Gale Warning, westerly winds shall be blowing 35 to 45 knots with gusts to 50 knots and waves of 17 to 22 toes anticipated. For the Gale Warning, northwest winds shall be blowing 30 to 40 knots with gusts to 45 knots and waves of 14 to twenty toes anticipated,” the climate service stated.
Small craft warnings are in impact alongside all shores of the Nice Lakes.
