Minnesota National Guard gives coffee, donuts to anti-ICE protesters

On Sunday, the Minnesota Nationwide Guard was seen handing out espresso and donuts to anti-ICE protesters in St. Paul.
Safety guards in yellow vests have been captured on video providing donuts and low from the again of a car. A Nationwide Guard member informed WCCO-TV that this was a “demonstration of security and safety.”
The Minnesota Nationwide Guard posted on X earlier this month that if troops have been deployed to the Twin Cities, they’d put on reflective vests “to assist distinguish them from different companies in related uniforms.”
The guards within the video have been seen a day after a Border Patrol agent shot and killed 37-year-old Minneapolis resident Alex J. Pretti after he allegedly confronted brokers throughout a Division of Homeland Safety operation in south Minneapolis.

Federal officers initially alleged that Pretti approached officers with a gun and resisted disarmament.
Bystander video and eyewitness accounts circulating on-line raised questions on that model of occasions and whether or not Pretti was threatening officers when he was shot.

Pretti’s dying occurred simply weeks after an ICE officer fatally shot 37-year-old Renee Nicole Good as she allegedly blocked an operation in Minneapolis and drove towards the officer.

Walz on Sunday referred to as on President Donald Trump to withdraw “his 3,000 untrained brokers” from Minnesota “earlier than they kill one other American within the streets” after Pretti’s dying.
