Noem recommends sweeping travel ban after meeting with Trump at Mar-a-Lago

Homeland Safety Secretary Kristi Noem introduced Monday that, after assembly with President Donald Trump, she is recommending a sweeping journey ban on any nation she claims is sending harmful immigrants to america.

Noem made the announcement in a fiery submit on X, denouncing sure immigrants as “murderers” and “leeches.”

“I simply met with the president. I like to recommend a whole journey ban on any nation that’s flooding our nation with murderers, bloodsuckers and rights junkies,” Noem mentioned.

She labeled sure immigrants as threats to public security and accused them of draining assets meant for Individuals.

“Our forefathers constructed this nation on blood, sweat, and the unyielding love of freedom – not for international invaders to slaughter our heroes, drain our hard-earned tax {dollars}, or take away the advantages owed to AMERICANS,” she mentioned.

“WE DON’T WANT THEM. NOT ONE.”

The announcement got here after regulation enforcement officers reported that an Afghan immigrant allegedly attacked two Nationwide Guard members final Wednesday in Washington, D.C., simply blocks from the White Home.

Authorities recognized the suspect as 29-year-old Rahmanullah Lakanwal, who legally entered the US in 2021 below the Biden administration’s Operation Allies Welcome, a program that evacuated and resettled Afghan refugees because the Taliban took management of Afghanistan.

Noem criticized the method, claiming Lakanwal was not correctly vetted and accusing the Biden administration of what it described as insufficient screening of Afghans and different foreigners throughout former President Joe Biden’s time period.
