Oakland ISD begins vodcast program

Oakland Colleges is launching a brand new month-to-month training life-style vodcast, The Oakland Colleges Insider, designed to raise and spotlight its highly effective tales, modern applications and other people.

The premiere episode debuted on February 16 and might be out there to the general public on the Oakland Colleges YouTube channel, web site and social media platforms. Episodes may also be shared with native and nationwide companions.

Hosted by Oakland Colleges Superintendent Kenneth Gutman, the month-to-month vodcast will function management conversations, district and Oakland Colleges Technical Campus (OSTC) highlights, pupil and employees spotlights and updates on key training subjects.

“The Oakland Colleges Insider offers us a brand new technique to join with our communities and share the unimaginable work taking place in lecture rooms, applications and partnerships throughout Oakland County,” mentioned Gutman. “Every episode will highlight the folks and applications making a distinction for college students and offering significant insights into the way forward for training.”

Episode one consists of an interview with Birmingham Public Colleges Superintendent Embekka Roberson, an article on OSTC’s annual Home Transfer showcasing hands-on development and profession readiness studying, and a particular retirement tribute in honor of longtime Oakland Colleges worker Audrey McClellan.
