And I will always remember the picture I’ve in my head of the terrorist telling me to go down this ladder. It’s totally slender to go underground. I am shaking. I will always remember his smile,” Siegel stated on the second anniversary of the assaults and the beginning of her captivity.

Her husband Keith was held in solitary confinement for six months.
