Orion Township honors Missy Berwick as Citizen of the Month

Missy performed a key function in securing 501(c)(3) standing for the Mates of Camp Agawam (FOCA), a milestone that helped form the group’s mission and talent to work with the group to guard and improve Camp Agawam and Tommy’s Lake by means of stewardship, fundraising and shared care.
She was nominated by Trustee John Carsona fellow FOCA board member, and the board unanimously permitted the popularity.
“Missy has been a driving pressure behind the Mates of Camp Agawam for the reason that starting,” she stated Supervisor Chris Barnett. “She has helped increase 1000’s of {dollars} to maintain Camp Agawam as the good location that it’s in our group. She has been instrumental in acquiring grants, volunteering, volunteering and extra volunteering. Tommystock wouldn’t exist with out her, though we all know she’s going to give credit score to everybody else.”
