Police: Medical issue suspected in crash that critically injured 84-year-old driver

A medical difficulty is suspected to be the reason for a single-car crash in Groveland Township on Oct. 11 that critically injured the 84-year-old driver, based on Michigan State Police.

Preliminary investigation reveals the driving force, a Holly girl, was driving north on Barron Street in a Buick Encore when she suffered a diabetic seizure, drove by the cul-de-sac on Groveland Street, left the roadway and struck a tree, MSP acknowledged on X. She was critically injured and transported to a neighborhood hospital, MSP mentioned.

In keeping with MSP, the accident occurred shortly earlier than 7 a.m.

This was the second critical visitors accident in Groveland Township in two days – the opposite resulted within the loss of life of a person on October 8.

State police mentioned a 21-year-old Davisburg man died after operating a cease signal on the intersection of Grange Corridor and Tripp roads. His car was struck on the driving force’s aspect by one other automobile and he was pronounced lifeless on the scene, MSP mentioned.
