Police: Woman says someone stole $1,500-plus from her purse while she was grocery shopping
Bloomfield Township police are investigating a reported theft of a number of hundred {dollars} from a girl’s purse whereas she was grocery purchasing.
In accordance with police, the girl mentioned she was purchasing at Hollywood Market on South Opdyke Street on Friday, November 28, and on the checkout she observed her bag was unlocked – and $1,551 in money was lacking.
The girl advised police that her bag was on her shoulder all the time she was purchasing. Nothing else was lacking from the bag.
