Pontiac man, 82, dead from injuries 4 days after being hit by truck
An 82-year-old Pontiac man died Oct. 10 from accidents he suffered 4 days earlier when he was struck by a truck whereas crossing the road, officers mentioned.
The Oakland County Sheriff’s Workplace recognized the person as Larry Gene Howard and mentioned he was struck by a 2012 Chevrolet Colorado pickup close to the intersection of Walton Boulevard and Baldwin Avenue in Pontiac shortly after 12:30 a.m. on Oct. 6.
A 68-year-old Pontiac man was driving the truck south on Baldwin Avenue and was turning proper onto Walton Boulevard when Howard was struck, the sheriff’s workplace mentioned.
Howard was transported to an space hospital, the place he died Friday. The incident stays beneath investigation by the Crash Reconstruction Unit, the sheriff’s workplace mentioned.
