Reports of victims with gunshot wounds at California mall on Black Friday

Police stated three victims have been transported to a neighborhood hospital with gunshot wounds after a taking pictures on the Westfield Valley Honest Mall in San Jose, California appeared to make the most of Black Friday crowds.

San Jose Mayor Matt Mahan posted on X that “there isn’t a ongoing risk to the neighborhood.”

“This isn’t the information I needed to share with you this vacation weekend,” he wrote. “My prayers are with these victims and I do know our officers are doing every thing they will to seek out the particular person accountable and maintain them accountable.”

Customers have been sharing images and movies on social media of themselves barricading themselves in malls and sharing real-time updates.
