Rochester schools honors local volunteers
This 12 months’s Rochester Group PTA Founders Day occasion can be held within the Rochester Excessive Faculty auditorium on February 18 at 6 p.m.
PTA Founders Day will honor the contributions of greater than 70 devoted volunteers and group builders.
Every year, the occasion honors three excellent volunteers from every college within the district, together with particular awards.
This 12 months’s theme, “Impacting Futures Collectively,” shines a highlight on those that have demonstrated distinctive dedication and repair to RCS.
The next particular awards:
• Jamie Sak, John Schultz Management Award.
• Kate Condon, councilor of the 12 months.
• Kathy Nitz, PTA Council Advocacy Award.
• Imülde Sullivan, Sharon Pizzuti and Krista Abredrabbo, Distinguished Service Awards.
• Suzie Sebastian, Sensible Concepts Award.
• Audrey Henckel, ACORN Award.
• Tanush Patnaik, winner of the Founders Day ‘Impacting Futures Collectively’ brand design.
Proceeds help the Rochester Group PTA Council Enrichments and the PTA Council Scholarship Fund, which gives six scholarships yearly to graduating seniors.
