Three hurt in Christmas Day crash in Commerce Township
Three folks have been critically injured in a Christmas Day visitors accident in Commerce Township, in keeping with Oakland County Sheriff’s officers.
The crash occurred Thursday at 2 p.m. on East Maple Street at M-5 when a 32-year-old Walled Lake Township man driving a 2012 Ford Fusion did not cease at a crimson gentle on eastbound East Maple Street. The Fusion struck a 2025 Lincoln Navigator with an 89-year-old Clarkston man driving that was touring south on M-5. A 69-year-old lady was a passenger within the Lincoln.
The Walled Lake man was not sporting a seat belt and was taken by ambulance to Ascension Windfall Hospital with critical accidents, in keeping with police.
The Clarkston man, whose seat belt was not correctly mounted, was rushed to Henry Ford Hospital with critical accidents. He was handled and launched. The girl in his automobile had used her seat belt appropriately and stays at Henry Ford Hospital for therapy of attainable critical accidents;
The sheriff’s assertion reveals that there isn’t a proof that drug or alcohol use performed a task within the accident.
Officers from the sheriff’s crash reconstruction unit used a drone to assist officers from the Commerce Township substation examine the crash.
