Trans woman’s body found; man charged with hate crime, murder
An 18-year-old Highland Park-Man is accused of a hate crime in reference to killing a 28-year-old transgender girl of colour whose physique was discovered behind a laundry in Detroit.
In line with a press launch from the workplace of the general public prosecutor of Wayne County: Christina Hayes of Taylor, at round 4:30 am on June 21, her cash and cell phone was robbed. A preliminary investigation into failures is deliberate for two September.
“This case represents a relentless sample of merciless assaults and murders on transvrouwen ladies of colour. Each citizen of Wayne County has the best to steer their lives and to be secure. We’ll deliver the alleged assassin of Christina Hayes to courtroom,” stated Wayne County Officer of Justice Kym Worthy.
