Trump calls for arrest of Dems who urged troops to reject ‘illegal orders’

President Donald Trump denounced the six Democrats who appeared in a video telling troops to disregard “unlawful” orders.
“It is known as seditious conduct on the highest stage. Each considered one of these traitors to our nation have to be arrested and dropped at justice,” Trump wrote. Truth Social on Thursday. “Their phrases can not stand – we may have no nation left!!! An instance MUST be set.”
In a second message, Trump wrote: “That is actually evil and harmful for our nation. Their phrases can not stand. SLEEPING BEHAVIOR OF TRAITORS!!! LOCK THEM OUT???”
Trump added later Thursday that the actions had been “punishable by dying.”

The video, posted Tuesday by Sen. Elissa Slotkin, D-Mich., has drawn the ire of Republicans and the Trump administration. The Democrats within the video embrace Slotkin, Sen. Mark Kelly, D-Ariz., Reps. Chris Deluzio, D-Pa., Maggie Goodlander, D-N.H., Chrissy Houlahan, D-Pa., and Jason Crow, D-Colo. The entire lawmakers within the video highlighted their former service within the army and intelligence neighborhood.
Slotkin and her colleagues have spent the previous few weeks introduce laws to restrict Trump’s potential to deploy Nationwide Guard members domestically or take army motion towards suspected narco-terrorists with out congressional approval.
None of this context seems within the video, titled “Do not Give Up the Ship,” which as a substitute describes the decision as a warning to army members to “get up for our legal guidelines” and “refuse illegal orders.”

Secretary of Conflict Pete Hegseth responded to the video on Xwrite: “Part 4 TDS.”
Sen. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn., echoed the sentiment throughout an look on “The Faulkner Focus.”

Slotkin’s ‘No Troops in Our Streets Act’, described in a November 13 release, would give Congress the ability to dam the deployment of the Nationwide Guard in American cities. Trump has expanded Nationwide Guard operations to Los Angeles, Portland and Chicago amid violent crimes. There are additionally stories that troops can be deployed to Louisiana.
