Trump ‘immediately’ ends deportation protections for Somalis in Minnesota

President Donald Trump stated Friday night that he’s ending deportation protections for Somalis in Minnesota “efficient instantly.”
“Minnesota, underneath governor [Tim Walz] Waltz is a hub of fraudulent cash laundering exercise,” Trump wrote on Fact Social.
He continued, “I, as President of the US, hereby terminate, efficient instantly, the Non permanent Protected Standing (TPS) program for Somalis in Minnesota.”

Trump claimed that “Somali gangs are terrorizing the folks of that nice state, and BILLIONS of {dollars} are lacking. Ship them again the place they got here from. It is OVER! President DJT.”

Minnesota has a big Somali inhabitants and the TPS program offers Somali nationals non permanent authorized standing to dwell and work within the U.S. as a result of harmful situations within the African nation.
