Waterford couple in their 90s dead in suspected murder-suicide
Waterford police are investigating the deaths of a Waterford Township couple of their 90s in what seems to be a murder-suicide, officers stated.
In line with Waterford Police Chief Scott Underwood, police responded to a report of two deaths at a house on Crescent Street round 6 p.m.
A 97-year-old lady and a 96-year-old man had been discovered with deadly gunshot wounds in the lounge, Underwood stated in a information launch.
A handgun was recovered on the scene, he stated.
A preliminary investigation signifies a murder-suicide, Underwood stated.
Detectives decided that each had “in depth” medical histories, Underwood stated. No different info has been launched but, together with the couple’s names.
Autopsies had been scheduled for Thursday by the Oakland County Medical Examiner.
