Waterford selects Dearborn administrator as new superintendent

The Waterford College District has once more chosen a brand new superintendent, awaiting a contract.

The primary try to switch their retired superintendent ended with the 2 events who have been unable to succeed in a deal.

The varsity board voted 6-1 to enter into contract negotiations with Adam Martin to be their subsequent superintendent. Martin is the present govt director of scholar efficiency at Dearborn Public Faculties.

Martin was a trainer for seven years from 2003, assistant director at John Glenn Excessive College and director of Stevenson Center College in Westland. He was named director of Dearborn Excessive College in the summertime of 2016 and took over his present place within the autumn of 2021.

Thomas Ahart, former chief inspector of the DES Moines, Iowa, public faculty system, was chosen by the board in October 2024 to take over for Scott Lindberg, who retired after 5 years as a superintendent.
