Christmas tree decor contestant wins $5,000
A primary-ever charity Christmas tree adorning contest in Rochester Hills will profit an Oxford animal rescue.
Ten nonprofits participated within the first “Bushes For A Trigger” contest, adorning bushes on show on the Village of Rochester Hills buying middle. Buyers voted for his or her favorites.
The K9 Stray Rescue League obtained essentially the most votes and received a $5,000 donation to help canine rescue, care, adoption and training in Oakland, Macomb, Lapeer and surrounding counties. Extra info at www.K9Strays.com.
