College football brawl leads to suspensions

Grambling State’s victory over Bethune-Cookman on Saturday was marred by an enormous brawl that broke out at halftime.
The Southwestern Athletic Convention (SWAC) introduced Monday that greater than 20 gamers had been suspended following the struggle: 9 gamers from Bethune-Cookman and 18 from Grambling State.

ESPN’s Kalan Hooks posted images of the incident on X. The video confirmed a number of gamers throwing punches as coaches and officers tried to interrupt it up.

The sport was shut at halftime when Grambling State held a 24-20 lead. The Tigers took the win, 31-23.
The SWAC mentioned three of the 27 gamers concerned got two-match suspensions. The remaining might be excluded for one match.
