Following Resignation, Rochester School Board Seeks Applicants to Fill Vacancy

Following resignations, the Rochester Faculty Board is in search of candidates to fill the emptiness

ROCHESTER, MI – The Rochester Group Faculty District Board of Training is in search of to fill a vacant place following the resignation of Jessica Gupta, efficient March 1, 2026. All eligible candidates are inspired to use for the vacant place.

Gupta introduced her intention to resign in a letter to the board, dated February 10, 2026, which states:

“Please settle for this letter as my formal resignation from my seat on the RCS Board of Training, efficient March 1, 2026.

It has been a real honor to serve our college students, households and neighborhood within the position of Trustee since 2022. I’m deeply grateful for the chance to work with a devoted superintendent, colleagues on the board, administrative group and devoted workers who, like me, care deeply in regards to the success and well-being of our college students. I additionally specific my honest due to the broader RCS neighborhood for the arrogance positioned in me to meet this position.

At this level, I’ve determined to refocus my time and power. I’ll proceed to assist our district’s success from a distinct perspective.

The Board will comply with the Revised Faculty Code and Michigan Election Regulation in appointing an eligible candidate to fill the place of Trustee.
