Oakland County
New Troy sidewalk project to be unveiled
Members of the Southeast Michigan Council of Governments (SEMCOG) will exhibit their newest undertaking throughout a gathering on December 15 in Troy.
The plan is to assemble one mile of recent 10-foot-wide path and restore and change roughly 1 mile of present sidewalk, creating a brand new bicycle and pedestrian route between Wattles and Lengthy Lake Street.
There will even be a crosswalk in the course of the road on Wattles Street to Leonard Elementary College.
The assembly is scheduled for 7:30 p.m., Dec. 15, at Troy Metropolis Corridor, 500 W. Huge Beaver Street.
The $1.2 million price ticket for the undertaking shall be lined with federal funding from SEMCOG’s Transportation Options Program
